World Hypnotism Day

Posted in News

Today, 4 January, is World Hypnotism Day. Hypnotists and hypnotherapists throughout the world take this opportunity to promote their technique and debunk some of the myths which cluster around it.

Because I live in New Zealand, I’m actually on summer holidays (I set this post up in advance to appear automatically today through the magic of technology). But I wish you a happy New Year, and will point you to some of my resources so that you can learn more about hypnosis and experience it for yourself.

Firstly, read my 10 common hypnosis myths so that you’re clear on what hypnosis is and isn’t.

Then, read about the uses of hypnotherapy so you have an idea of the possibilities.

Finally, you can try my simple hypnotic visualization induction and experience self-hypnosis.

I’m back at work from next week, so if you’re in Auckland and want to book an appointment, email or phone me – the details are on my contact page.
